KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — While the weather outside is still quite warm, it’s almost time for Knoxville Area Rescue Mission’s annual Christmas store to open.
This year, the first KARM Stores Christmas location to open will be located at 5425 Clinton Highway near the intersection of Clinton Highway and Merchant Drive. Its doors will open to the public on Friday, September 4 at 9 a.m.

KARM is also planning to open a second KARM Stores Christmas location for a second year in a row. Although the opening date for the other location has not been announced yet, KARM said it will be returning to 180 North Peters Road in West Knoxville between Cedar Bluff and Kingston Pike.
“Opening day for KARM Stores Christmas is always such a magical event,” Director of Marketing & Communications Josh Lively said. “From hundreds lined up at the doors to seeing customers light up seeing the decorated store, it’s truly a special experience. The Clinton Highway team has done a fantastic job getting this store ready, and we can’t wait to open the doors to the public for the 2026 season.”…
