A Gwinnett County man died on Saturday in a Lake Lanier drowning.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources identified the victim as 71-year-old Kim Gregory Battle of Buford.
Game wardens received a call around 3:28 p.m. Saturday about a drowning near Three Sisters Island. A witness says Battle was driving his boat when he lost his hat. As he went to grab it from the back of the boat, Battle slipped and fell into Lake Lanier…
