AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Two people were arrested in Amarillo for methamphetamine distribution charges, according to documents filed on Aug. 12.
Documents note that Eric Acosta and Amber Luther were both arrested on one count of “Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.”
Documents state that Acosta was allegedly at Luther’s apartment giving her approximately two grams of methamphetamine. Acosta was arrested after a consented search of his residence, where officers allegedly found 17 baggies of an “off-white crystalline substance.”

Officers located and arrested Luther on an outstanding parole warrant at the apartment complex, where officers then allegedly found a clear bag containing 58 grams of an off-white crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.
