NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The teen who fell to his death inside the decrepit Plaza Tower last weekend was identified Tuesday (Aug. 18) as 17-year-old Jacque St. Ann.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s office confirmed St. Ann’s identity, citing his preliminary cause of death as “blunt force injuries due to fall from height.”
St. Ann was a student at Belle Chasse High School, expected to graduate in 2027. In a social media post, the school described St. Ann as “an outstanding student and, more importantly, an exceptional young man who made a lasting impact on those around him.”
