A volunteer-based disaster relief group is now in the Spokane area to help fire victims recover personal belongings and start the clean up process.
Samaritan’s Purse said it was helping homeowners search through burned properties for keepsakes and other items that may have survived or items they might was to salvage. The group also offers chainsaw work and temporary roof tarping for people with little or no insurance.
