AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – On Tuesday, the Summit County Clerk of Courts warned the public about the latest jury scam affecting the community.
Summit County Clerk of Courts Tavia Galonski said a person received several calls from an anonymous number that claimed to be from the Summit County Clerk of Courts Office that said the victim had missed a summon for jury.
