Behind the building that used to serve as a warehouse at Mixon’s Groveside Market are two lines of fruit trees.
The trees produce mangos, avocados, star fruits, lychees, guavas, sugar apples, Barbados cherries and three types of sapote (a tropical fruit in the persimmon family). But something is missing.
