CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A sudden rise in the number of mosquitoes in one specific part of Clovis has raised concerns, but the area’s mosquito abatement team already has a plan to deal with it.
Residents in northeast Clovis, near the city’s Surface Water Treatment Plant, have reported to the Consolidated Mosquito Abatement District a significant increase in mosquito activity. District Manager Jodi Holeman told YourCentralValley.com on Tuesday that the activity is not typical.
