Commutation board to hold first public hearing Friday in Madison

MADISON, Wis. (WBAY) – A special board will interview 12 people this Friday who are asking for commutation, meaning they are asking the governor to shorten their prison time, Action 2 News has learned.

Some of these people have been in prison since the early 1990s for serious crimes, while others are there for drug offenses or robbery.
