Twelve shots fired at prisoner who raced from station

The Forest Park Police Department got a thrill of real excitement, Sunday night, when a prisoner about to be booked for speeding and kindred charges, ran from the station, leaped into his motor car and led two motorcycle officers in a thrilling race of several miles in which 12 shots were fired from the officers’ guns before he was re-captured and led again to the booking sergeant’s desk at the Municipal Building…
