BOSTON (WWLP) – Dog lovers looking to add a new pet to their family will have the chance to do so for free during a three-day adoption event hosted by MSPCA-Angell and several Massachusetts shelter partners.
The organizations will hold a fee-waived dog adoption event, part of the national “Clear the Shelters” campaign, from Friday, Aug. 21, through Sunday, Aug. 23. The promotion applies to dogs ages 1 and older and is sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
The event is the third and final adoption effort in MSPCA-Angell’s summer series, designed to increase adoptions during a historically slow period for shelter dogs.
