Peter Thomas is out of federal custody in Miami and already talking up his next chapter — a new girlfriend three decades his junior and a planned South Beach nightclub — even as millions of dollars in unpaid taxes and civil judgments still hang over him. The 65-year-old former nightlife entrepreneur and Real Housewives of Atlanta star was released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Miami in February 2026 after serving about six months of an 18-month sentence for tax fraud.
According to the Miami Herald, Thomas has transitioned into a local supervised release program following his early prison exit. Reporter Madeleine Marr writes that Thomas revealed he has a secret girlfriend of two years, a model identified as Alexandra Mulan, who is 32 years younger than him. The two met in April 2024 at a day party at the Dua Miami hotel in Brickell, and Thomas told Carlos King’s Reality King podcast that their attraction was mutual and immediate, saying, “We were holding hands 20 minutes later.”
Mulan told the Herald she did not initially realize Thomas was a television star, and that her interest was based more on his character than his name. Thomas, who has five grown children from three previous relationships, said he would not be opposed to having more kids if nature took its course, adding, “If it happens, I’m for it.”
