A boat crash in the Upper Keys on Aug. 16 claimed the life of a Hialeah woman.
According to Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission, a 35-foot SeaVee with four adults on board was traveling northbound in the Intracoastal Waterway near Tavernier. As the vessel made a turn toward Cowpens Cut, all four occupants were ejected into the water.
FWC said 52-year-old Dianelys Martinez, of Hialeah, died from injuries she sustained in the incident. Two people on the boat were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. The other person sustained no injuries…
