LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A portion of the former Veterans Hospital in Lincoln will be revitalized and transformed into affordable housing for seniors and veterans, the City of Lincoln announced Wednesday.
Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird said the city is supporting the creation of 95 affordable homes through the redevelopment of the former Veterans Administration Hospital at Victory Park located at 600 S 70th St.
“This project, led by Burlington Capital Partners and the Seniors Foundation, will transform an underutilized building into a valuable community asset that grows the supply of affordable housing,” Gaylor Baird said…
