TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa police said a man was arrested early Tuesday after allegedly stealing a car from a convenience store near 15th Street and Denver Avenue, crashing into another vehicle and running to a nearby McDonald’s.
Officers were called to the convenience store around 4:30 a.m. Aug. 18 after reports that a man had repeatedly been stealing food from the store.
Police say suspect stole car after taking food
Security told officers the same man who had been stealing snacks had just stolen a car from the store.
The suspect, identified by police as 27-year-old Donovan Anderson, was captured on surveillance video driving away shortly before officers arrived.
A few minutes later, police received a report that the stolen car had crashed into a Lexus SUV near 15th Street and Madison Avenue…
