TULSA, Okla. – As Tulsa Public Schools prepare for the new school year, some parents are raising concerns about the temperature inside classrooms.

Parents See Hot Classrooms During Back-to-School Events

Back-to-school night gave some parents a firsthand look at conditions inside several buildings.

One parent contacted the News On 6 after finding her child’s classroom at Greenwood Leadership Academy was reportedly 90 degrees.

In a message, the parent wrote, “I don’t feel comfortable letting my child suffer in a hot classroom … please can you help me?”…
