AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A local golf facility and a nonprofit are joining forces Saturday to grow the game of golf for women and address barriers keeping some from playing.
Amy Andrews founded the nonprofit Take a Swing CSRA to address cost as a barrier to golf.
“Our goal is to eliminate the financial barriers in the game of golf by getting used equipment that’s refurbished into the hands of people who may not be sure about wanting to get in the game, or may not have resources to obtain the equipment they need,” Andrews said…
