(KRON) — A Silver Alert was activated Thursday by the California Highway Patrol in Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco counties after a 69-year-old man was reported missing.
Alexander Drejes is described by authorities as 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 175 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing when he went missing.
Authorities said the missing man was last seen Wednesday around 7 p.m. in Richmond but did not return to his home in Mill Valley. Authorities believe that Drejes is driving a white 2014 Mercedes Sprinter van with California license plate 88196N2.
“Alexander is known to become confused at work due to exposure to chemicals,” the Mill Valley Police Department wrote in a missing person advisory. “Alexander has gone missing in the past (5 months ago) due to this issue; he was in San Francisco for 24-hours. It has not been confirmed if this is a similar incident.”
