While severe weather wasn’t on the radar, Pittsburgh was expected to see wet conditions through the second half of the week and into the weekend of Aug 22.
Rain started the morning of Aug. 20 and was likely to continue throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh. Afternoon and evening storms were also expected throughout the weekend.
