The owner of Bluestone Country Club, BSK Meadows, LP, has submitted a conditional use application (view) to Whitpain Township that seeks to redevelop the country club property into a residential community. The application outlines a plan for 104 single-family detached homes within the township’s Residential 1 zoning district and 38 townhomes within the R-B3 district. The country club’s clubhouse and event space would remain. The homes would be constructed on what is now the golf course.
The almost 130-acre property was purchased for $4,797,000 in 2016 by BSK Meadows, which is an entity associated with Jenkintown-based developer Bruce Goodman. The property was previously Meadowlands Country Club, which was founded in 1949.
