Woman killed in hit-and-run crash on North Clinton Avenue

Rochester, N.Y. — A 39-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night, according to the Rochester Police Department.

Officers responded North Clinton Avenue near Central Avenue just north of the Inner Loop around 8:30 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Police found the woman, a Rochester resident, unresponsive in the roadway. She was treated at the scene before she was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital, where she died from her injuries, police said…
