CLARKSON, N.Y. — The driver of an SUV has died after colliding with a farm tractor on Lake Road near Lawton Road in Clarkson on Thursday.
Monroe County sheriff’s deputies say the crash happened just before 6 a.m., and the road remains closed in both directions between Lawton Road and Woodstock Lane. The driver died at the scene, and deputies won’t release the name until the family has been notified.
Deputies say the tractor driver wasn’t injured and is cooperating with the investigation. According to investigators, drugs or alcohol were not a factor for the tractor driver. The Case farm tractor was towing a set of 17-foot discs when the crash happened…
