Two years after three people were brutally murdered and their Cypress home was set on fire, federal and local authorities are renewing their push for information that could finally crack the case.
The FBI announced on Tuesday that it has increased the reward to up to $50,000 for information that could identify the suspects involved in the fatal shooting of Cameryn Richard, 21, her boyfriend Kolin Foster, 23 and his mother Kelly Masciarelli, 54.
“There is somebody evil out there walking around, and they will do it to somebody else; they will harm somebody else’s family. They will destroy somebody else’s family,” said Tina King, Richard’s mother, in a tearful plea last year.
Officials say that on the morning of Aug. 18, 2024, a male suspect entered the North Cypress home on the 146000 block of Plains River Drive and shot the three victims while they were asleep. The home was then set on fire before the suspect fled the scene on foot and was picked up by an unknown vehicle and driver a few blocks over.
Authorities have since released video surveillance footage in the hope that someone will recognize him, the getaway vehicle, or its driver—or have information about what happened that morning…
