Data center moratorium more than doubled after metro Atlanta commission vote

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to extend their pause on applications to build data centers.

A 30-day moratorium passed in July, with county officials saying from the get-go they wanted to revisit it and planned to extend it in August.
