Chattanooga places employees on paid leave after audit flags auto parts overspending

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A City of Chattanooga audit found more than $1 million in unauthorized spending above approved limits on automotive parts contracts, along with widespread pricing discrepancies in the city’s procurement process.
