Twice-convicted killer sentenced to 15 years to life for fatal Fresno stabbing

A Fresno man received his second homicide sentence Thursday, ordered to spend 15 years to life in prison for the fatal stabbing of a man in Downtown Fresno more than four years ago.

Manuel Espinoza appeared in Fresno County Superior Court, where he faced emotional statements from the family of Ismael Montes before learning his sentence.
