GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man responsible for the deaths of four people in a New Year’s Eve crash in 2024 in Greenville County was sentenced to 35 years in prison Wednesday.
According to the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, 33-year-old Nicholas Shane Meeks pleaded guilty Monday to four counts of reckless homicide.

On December 31, 2024, a car carrying four people was entering Cooley Bridge Road near Pearson Road after turning around when it was struck by Meeks’ vehicle around 9:15 p.m.
