Seminole County ‘junk man’ arrested on driving, 911 misuse charges

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Alan Davis, who has spent more than 25 years defying Seminole County officials over his junk-filled yard, was arrested Monday on charges of driving without a license, resisting arrest and misusing 911, court records show.

Davis, 70, was taken into custody on Aug. 17 by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office after a deputy said he ran a stop sign near Raymond Avenue and North Street in Longwood.
