WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Crews in Wilmington will be making repairs to the river bulkhead and removing trees next week.
According to the city, crews will be working on the bulkhead at Church and Surry Streets on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The bulkhead helps protect and stabilize the river’s shoreline.
A limited number of trees will also be removed in the area to safely access the bulkhead and bring in equipment. The city arborist has inspected the trees being removed, and most are invasive or dead…
