The National Weather Service calls for sunny skies Thursday, with east-northeast winds of 1 to 5 mph and only a slight chance of rain. An isolated shower or thunderstorm remains possible later in the day, especially over the mountains, while most lowland neighborhoods should stay dry.
Temperatures will hover near 100 degrees through late afternoon as humidity falls into the teens. Tonight will turn mostly cloudy with a low around 77, followed by another sunny and hotter Friday with a high near 102.
