Denver micromobility trips rise as Veo introduces sidewalk speed reductions

DENVER – As the city balances the need for more transportation options with frustrations over sidewalk accessibility and improperly parked scooters, new numbers released Wednesday give a glimpse of how Denverites and visitors are adapting to Veo e-bikes and scooters.

Veo said between May and June, there were 1.34 million trips – an increase of 12% year-over-year. Veo replaced Lime and Bird earlier this year to become the city’s sole micromobility provider after the Denver City Council approved a three-year contract with the company.
