An advocacy group seeking to “DeFlock” the city of Albany held an event Wednesday to raise awareness about the presence of Flock’s automated license plate reader (ALPR) cameras.
At the so-called Flock Safari, hosted by Indivisible Albany, attendees traveled to checkpoints around Washington Park where an advocate is stationed, ready to dole out information about Flock Safety, one of the nation’s largest providers of ALPRs.
