CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Greater Cincinnati will get a break from the recent stormy weather Friday before another cold front brings scattered thunderstorms and the possibility of severe weather Saturday.
Friday will be mostly quiet and comfortable, with below-normal temperatures in the lower 80s. A stray afternoon or early evening shower or storm is possible, but most of the Tri-State is expected to remain dry.
Rain chances increase Saturday as a cold front approaches the region.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop, with the best chance from mid-afternoon through early evening. The storms are expected to be hit-or-miss, meaning many locations could avoid rain entirely.
Areas along and east of Interstate 75 are under a Level 1 of 5 severe weather risk.
Any stronger storms that develop could produce damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall, but the overall severe weather threat remains isolated.
Despite the storm chance, much of Saturday is expected to remain dry, so outdoor plans do not necessarily need to be canceled…
