EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Ascension St. Vincent Hospital Police Department officials say a man is in jail after trying to start a fire at hospital.
According to an affidavit, the suspect, later identified as James Comenzind, was spotted holding a gas can in the Emergency Room parking lot around 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Police say James told officers he wanted to do something bad and wanted to go to jail because he was homeless.
