Police: Evansville woman caused 12-mile chase through two counties

VANDERBURGH COUNTY (WRTV)–An Evansville woman faces multiple charges after authorities said she fled from deputies during a traffic stop and led them on a 12-mile pursuit through Vanderburgh and Warrick counties early Wednesday morning.

According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, deputies began an investigation at approximately 12:35 a.m. Aug. 26 in the 5400 block of East Indiana Street. When deputies arrived, they observed a woman near a dumpster who immediately ran to the driver’s seat of a nearby vehicle.

The woman, identified as Latasha Mosley, appeared unsteady on her feet and was acting erratically, deputies said. Deputies observed several signs of possible impairment while speaking with her and asked her to exit the vehicle…
