He fled violence in Africa to start a new life in Rochester – now his family is demanding answers in his death

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The family of a refugee man found dead Sunday along the Genesee River Trail is speaking out as Rochester Police investigate his death as a homicide.

The victim has been identified as Mmunga Eloco, a Congolese man whose body was discovered along the trail. RPD believes Eloco was murdered and his body was then dumped at the location.
