KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Friday is now a First Warn as thunderstorms develop this afternoon and evening, with some possibly becoming strong to severe.
That said, much of the day will be dry before the storms pose a risk. The morning starts on a quiet note with a mix of sun and clouds and comfortable temperatures. We are hotter this afternoon with highs in the upper 80s. It will feel like the mid-90s with a bump in humidity.
Afternoon and Evening Storm Threat
We have two potential rounds of storms. Both are scattered, meaning some of us may dodge them entirely.
First Round: 4-10 PM (could affect some evening plans)…
