New Orleans firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze in an Uptown multifamily home Thursday night.
The New Orleans Fire Department responded to a call in the 2200 block of Napoleon Avenue at 6:47 p.m., said NOFD Capt. Quentin Brown.
Brown said a sweep of the building after firefighters arrived did not find anyone inside the building. He said there were reports of a cat being in the building. Nearby at Napoleon and Liberty Street, a man and a woman could be seen tending to a cat in the back of an ambulance shortly after 8 p.m…
