Students graduate from LCCC’s paramedic program

Luzerne County Community College celebrated the accomplishments of its newest paramedic graduates during a graduation ceremony Friday, Aug. 14, at the Educational Conference Center on the College’s main campus in Nanticoke.

The evening was a proud milestone for the graduates, their families, instructors and the college community as students completed the Advanced Life Support – Paramedic Certificate Program.

The program provides students with paramedic-level training using current equipment and nationally recognized standards required by Pennsylvania law. Students develop the knowledge, clinical skills and professional judgment necessary to provide advanced emergency medical care in challenging pre-hospital environments…
