A Friday morning coffee hour in downtown Saline quickly turned to the proposed Saline Township data center, with Mayor Brian Marl outlining concerns the city is raising with state environmental regulators and state Rep. Morgan Foreman criticizing how large data center projects have been handled in Michigan.
About 20 residents gathered Aug. 21 at Carrigan Cafe for the discussion, which also touched on city infrastructure, leadership and state funding.
