ANN ARBOR, MI – A local organization’s shelter is offering free adoptions after taking in a record-high number of cats, including 149 that were rescued this summer.
According to a news release, the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) has rescued cats over the past two months from unsafe, hoarding situations at homes in Ann Arbor Township, Manchester, Northville and Ypsilanti.
And now, the HSHV shelter has a total of 323 cats, including 99 that are ready or will soon be ready for adoption. Others are in foster homes or being taken care of at the Tiny Lions Cat Café…
