LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Tenn. — Rock City says some ideas gathered from Lookout Mountain residents will make their way into its controversial gondola proposal as the company moves into the next stage of planning.
Fewer than 140 people attended six public listening sessions held over three days, according to Rock City. The company says residents submitted more than 50 written questions and comments.
Those comments covered traffic, parking, noise, buffer zones, environmental concerns and the project’s potential effect on surrounding neighborhoods.
“The last three days have allowed us to have thoughtful conversations and to answer questions from our neighbors,” Rock City officials said. “We also received ideas that will become part of the plan as we move forward.”…
