Syracuse, N.Y. – Three men were detained by federal immigration agents in the Westcott neighborhood Thursday morning, according to witnesses.
The federal agents stopped the men, who were in a white Jeep, shortly before 9 a.m. in the 400 block of Westcott Street, according to witnesses and video they captured.
Soon after, Syracuse police were patrolling in the neighborhood. At first, the city officers stopped to help what they thought were other Syracuse officers or Onondaga County sheriff deputies executing a warrant, police said…
