La Rue Doughnuts, the beloved Dallas shop known for buttery brioche doughnuts and French-inspired pastries, officially opened its new Frisco location Aug. 15.
The shop is located at 4747 4th Army Dr., bringing La Rue’s growing following to a new corner of North Texas.
From Carte Blanche To La Rue
La Rue Doughnuts began as an offshoot of Amy and Casey La Rue’s award-winning restaurant Carte Blanche. The concept originally operated as a daytime bakery, serving pastries, croissants and doughnuts, before the owners eventually shifted their focus to La Rue as its own standalone business.
The first standalone La Rue location opened at Trinity Groves in West Dallas in 2024. Since then, the shop has developed a following for its chef-driven take on the classic doughnut. Now, that following is making its way north…
