JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Mississippians are playing more for essential items. Several said they’re ready for the Iran War to end and are hopeful that could lower prices.
According to AAA, the average prices of gasoline per gallon in Mississippi is more than $3.60. Meanwhile, the national average is higher than $4.00 per gallon.
“Here in Clinton, you got stations that are $3.48 a gallon and then five blocks down the road, it’s like, you know, $3.79. That’s just crazy difference in gas prices,” said Danny Davis…
