Lafayette judge denies motion to suppress evidence

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — A judge on Thursday denied a motion to suppress social media evidence in the case against a suspect charged with second-degree murder in a shooting on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Braylon Jairell Seimenm of Gibson is accused in the death of a man who was found dead from a gunshot wound in the middle of the 700 block of Malapart Road.

Surveillance video captured near the scene showed the alleged suspect communicating with the victim minutes prior to the shooting. Investigators noted the suspect in the video was wearing black Nike shorts, sneakers and a white hoodie…
