COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The YMCA of Metropolitan Columbus marked a major milestone Thursday with the completion of a five-year renovation project, bringing new facilities, updated amenities and expanded opportunities for health and wellness to the community.
The Columbus YMCA has a long history in the community. Founded in 1856, it is recognized as the third-oldest YMCA in the nation. Nearly 170 years later, the organization is celebrating a new chapter with significant improvements designed to better serve people of all ages.
