COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Columbus police say a motorcyclist died Friday evening after a driver turning left struck him on the city’s southwest side.
Police say Ronald Strader, 54, was riding a motorcycle south on Demorest Road near Ruoff Farm Drive around 6:46 p.m. when a Jeep heading northbound attempted to turn left onto Ruoff and struck him.
Strader was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the Jeep were not injured.
