INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 35-year-old Indianapolis man was convicted Friday of murder for the July 2023 shooting death of his wife, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.
After a two-day bench trial, Seth Smith-Robinson was found guilty of shooting 36-year-old Erica Pedroza multiple times inside their home.
Her obituary said Pedroza “used her extensive knowledge and deeply caring personality to work in academic advising, minority health initiatives, and most recently promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts for Indianapolis businesses.”…
