A Ohio woman is claiming she lost her home after someone posing as a representative from her local deaf community center scammed her out of all her savings.

Deborah Huber, who is disabled and deaf, said she was contacted on Facebook at the beginning of the year by someone who claimed they were an employee with the Deaf Services Center, which provides assistance to those in the deaf and hard of hearing community in her area, per ABC 13.

Huber said the person claimed they would help place her and her adult son in a new, fully furnished home, prompting her to send them $12,000…
